Over a month ago I decided to buy a hydrosonic toothbrush by Curaprox of the funny-sounding name Black is White. Many of you were in shock that somebody was willing to spend almost £200 on a toothbrush as you were declaring that an electric toothbrush can be bought way cheaper. I have to admit that these comments made me have second thoughts. I was in doubt if I had done some silly thing buying this tooth-cleaning device but just after the first week with Curaprox, Go Black! I knew that it was the best choice I could have ever made (that concerns my teeth, of course).
Curaprox, Black is White has a very ergonomic shape. It’s a little bit bigger than standard toothbrushes which increases the comfort of holding it in a hand and manoeuvring it in general. The complete Go Black! set consists of the following elements: a convenient handle, two interchangeable brush heads, a charging station, a plug and a USB port. Obviously, in the box we can also find a manual and one extra which is a black (yes, pitch-back) whitening toothpaste that belongs to the same Black is White series.
Just by holding the device in the hands was enough to find out that the toothbrush’s quality is really high. Later, I read that Curaprox is a Swiss brand which made me trust in the toothbrush performance even more. It’s obvious that the Swiss are famous for utmost precision of performance and the highest quality of products. Anyway, Hydrosonic Black is White is a toothbrush the action of which is based on two elements:
– hydrodynamic effect that enables to clean even the hardest to reach, critical places,
– super soft Curen® fibre that is gentle and safe for teeth and gums.
Hydrosonic toothbrush Curaprox is equipped with a button due to which modes of the brush’s work can be changed. Precisely, there are three modes:
1. Massage mode – is designed to stimulate blood circulation in gums. When set to this mode, the hydrosonic brush works super gently as pleasant vibrations relax gums. I have to admit that this mode was perfect at easing my gums that I happen to irritate during eating.
2. Soft mode – during this mode, Curaprox toothbrush makes 32,000 vibrations per minute. Personally, I choose this mode most frequently since it’s designed to clean sensitive gums and teeth. In general, brushing teeth with this device is very comfy and pleasurable, the bristle is delicate and doesn’t irritate at all. The effect of clean teeth is surprisingly good!
3. Intensive mode – is mainly designed to prevent decay as well as to remove plaque. During this mode the brush makes 42,000 vibrations per minute. I used to select this mode for the first two weeks so to eliminate the plaque. To my surprise it already vanished after the first week of regular toothbrush use. Now neither plaque nor decay will reappear because I use this mode twice per month, just preventively.
